Already February!

I cannot believe January came and went, (and so did our annual trip to a warmer climate - this year Antigua). Not only that, February also arrived, so we celebrated Valentine's Day and Presidents' Day weekends with a polar vortex... Thankfully my trip to FL got cancelled so I didn't get to have any guilt about being away... (irony! lol)

Anyway, I am as of ...well, now the Artistic Director of the music department for the TIMARETE festival in NY. First emails out, first confirmations etc. Excited! Also, rehearsals at school are going GREAT, the Greek label collaboration is almost signed and sealed, and ideas f new songs are pouring in. With my new set up I seem to be passing most of my day working on 5 projects. The bad thing is I have 15...! Have I mentioned in this post how awful NY weather is?

August is here!!

Hey the summer is moving along and so are all the projects and news.

So the show is over and it seems it went pretty well. The Cast was so much fun to work with and hopefully we'll meet again pretty soon.

Currently I'm also performing in the city every Friday and am getting ready to shoot another film in the last week of August.

The previous one (The Divorce) is in post production, but the trailer is ready:



Hopefully by the end of the summer both movies are going to be ready and maybe the feature film too.

Don't miss also my appearance in National Geographic's "Monsters Inside Us".

Moreover, I'm still teaching singing at Roosevelt Island PS/IS while getting ready for the September's Off-Broadway Greek tragedy…

News from New York

It is official!

The journey to New York is coming to an end...

What started as a two week vacation in New York became a 4 month stay!!
I met incredible people. Got some amazing feedback about my performaces and the upcoming CD.

I coached a show which is coming to its end on the 20th, co-auditioned people for a new play, gave radio interviews, performed live and planned my seed in this incredible city. As an actor, singer, vocal coach and musician I have tried my best here.
New projects, however, have made my return to Greece a necessity - even though it will be a brief return.

I will be travelling to London, Ireland, Australia and God knows where else...
It is all so exciting!!
We are planning concerts, recordings, more collaborations...
Also, I am informed that the remix of one of the songs will be given to the radios soon!
I might be returing to New York soon for further stuff.
My one-man-show will be up and ready and it will need an audience!! :-)

The journey will finish with a last event. That will be, presenting a Music Video Contest.
(My background as a TV-host is back to haunt me!! he he he).

I want to thank all the people that have made all this possible.
My old and my new good friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I wouldn't have done anything without you guys!
